Integrity Urgent Care has announced a new partnership with Hope Springs Water (HSW). Clean water at the turn of a tap is something often taken for granted here in the United States, but for more than 600 million people around the world it is far from reality. “Doing what is right for the patient is what we live by” – the mission statement for Integrity Urgent Care – aligns well with the mission of HSW: “To bring HOPE to the world through Clean Water, Improved Sanitation, Public Health, and Hygiene Education.” Even though we may never meet these people as patients in one of our clinics, we can do a small part to improve their lives.

· Somewhere in the world, a child dies every 90 seconds from a diarrheal disease caused by a lack of clean water.
· In regions such as sub-Sahara Africa, women and girls spend 40 billion hours per year just collecting water.
Hope Springs Water (HSW) began in February 2010, and has its headquarters nearby in Athens, TX. HSW seeks to accomplish its mission by drilling water wells, building sanitary latrines, and teaching public health and hygiene related practices through school-based programs. The earliest HSW projects began in Nicaragua. Projects then were launched in Belize and have now extended to several African countries, including Bunyagira, Uganda, Ethiopia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, and other developing countries. To date, HSW has completed 83 water projects in 12 countries and 28 rural villages, bringing clean water and improved sanitation to more than 100,000 people.
