Integrity Urgent Care – Copperas Cove is now open and we’re so excited to be your new neighbor! We’re located in the Five Hills Shopping Center next to HEB at the former location of Precision Urgent Care. We are equipped to handle all non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries such as lacerations, possible fractures, burns, allergic reactions, rashes, ear infections, the flu, and more. Our emergency-trained team consists of Eddy Dark, DO, Douglas Ferguson, MD, Cody Emery, PA-C, David Taylor, PA-C, and Mark Montelongo, PA-C.
“All of us, everyone in the group, we are all ER people. We’ve all worked in the ER, trained in the ER,” said Dr. Eddy Dark in a recent interview for the Copperas Cove Leader Press, “So we like to say that we can do most everything people would go to the ER for, for about a tenth of the price. We charge urgent care prices, but because all of us are trained ER, we can do splinting, casting, and sutures that most clinics probably would not do. I’d like to tell patients, if you’re concerned, stop by here first. If we think it’s too much and think you need to go to the ER, we’ll help you get there and not charge you.”
The average cost of an urgent care visit is $150, and nearly all procedures are covered by insurance. The average cost of an emergency room visit is $1,233. The average wait time at an urgent care center is less than an hour, compared with an average wait time at an emergency room of 244 minutes. Our goal is to save you time and money while providing the best care possible in a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.
Integrity Urgent Care – Copperas Cove is open daily from 8 am – 8 pm. We encourage walk-ins and appointments are never necessary. We offer on-site x-rays and labs and can order MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds. We also offer $25 school physicals and DOT physicals. We accept most major insurance, including Tricare, and offer competitive self-pay rates.
